Booking Information

To attend a course or workshop, you need to be over 16 years of age unless the advertised course information specifically states otherwise. Learners aged 16 and 17 may attend courses and workshops if accompanied by an adult. The accompanying adult can attend for free as a non-participant. Please email to let us know if this is the case and include your booking reference number.

Following feedback from course attendees, for courses and workshops from February 2025 onwards, we are going to be waiving the extra amount paid by non RHS Members for Garden Entry. We appreciate that workshop timings often do not permit attendees to spend much time in the Garden and that the reason for your visit is to attend the workshop. The RHS strategy designates that as a horticultural charity we support people's lifelong adventure in Gardening and consequently felt it was important to revisit our pricing structure. We hope that by attending the course you will be inspired to join the RHS.

Access: The majority of RHS Gardens are accessible with a wheelchair and for access information please refer to the website for each RHS Garden. If you have any specific needs or requirements please contact the RHS Garden you would like to visit. Each RHS Garden has a number of mobility scooters available onsite as well as push wheelchairs. If you would like to book a mobility scooter to enable you to access the course, please contact the RHS Garden you would like to visit.

Carers: One companion is admitted free of charge per wheelchair user, visually impaired visitor or other person whose disability or situation necessitates a carer with them during a workshop. Please email to let us know if this is the case and include the booking reference number. If the carer also wishes to participate in the workshop, they would need to book a place as normal.

Admission: You are not required to purchase Garden Admission in addition to your course/workshops ticket, in order to access the garden on the day of your course/workshop.
