School Self-Guided Visit Bookings

The RHS offers free self-guided visits for schools and colleges.

How to Book

Each ticket booked covers entry for up to 35 pupils.

Book multiple tickets if bringing more than one class.

Use your school email account to book so we can verify your eligibility for a free visit. You will need your school URN - not sure of your URN? Find it here

If you do not have a URN for your educational setting please contact us to find out how to book a visit.

On the Day

For Self-Guided visits you may arrive and depart at any time within our Garden Opening Hours.

Entry for accompanying adults within our ratios is free and included within your booking.

Please note there is no guaranteed undercover lunch space for self-guided visits.

Please note that the Glasshouse may be closed in March.

Recommended Ratios

EYFS - 1:4

Years 1-3 - 1:6

Years 4-6 - 1:8

Years 7-13 - 1:10

Minimum 3 adults per class

Additional adults to support SEND learners are welcome
